Minimal data by design.

The public site does not require an account and does not ask for precise location, payment or profile data.

What information is processed?

Cloudflare may process standard request metadata such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and security signals to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose failures.
Event pages load map tiles from OpenStreetMap infrastructure. Your browser connects to that provider, and its own privacy terms apply.
Email sent to a DisasterSignal address contains the information you choose to provide.
We do not sell personal data, run behavioral advertising or create user profiles in this release.

How long is information kept?

Operational logs are retained only for the period needed for security, reliability and incident investigation, subject to hosting-provider settings and legal obligations. Correction and privacy correspondence may be retained while a request is handled and for a reasonable record of the decision.

How can I make a privacy request?

Email privacy@disastersignal.org with enough information to identify your request. DisasterSignal is an independent project and currently has no accounts, saved places, notifications or payment processing.
